Culinary Arts
Food stylist / Recipe Writer / Private Chef / Cookbook AuthorUnder the Culinary Artist umbrella, I wear multiple hats as a freelance food stylist, private chef, recipe developer and cookbook author.
Growing up in New Zealand, I was deeply inspired by Aotearoa's breathtaking landscapes and my family’s passion for food. The pristine, lush environment nurtured my appreciation for fresh, wholesome produce, a philosophy that continues to shape my work today.
After earning a first-class diploma in Culinary Arts from Auckland University of Technology (AUT), I explored the world, honing my skills in kitchens along the way. In 2012, I co-founded Meringue Girls, an innovative baking brand that quickly gained acclaim. Our work attracted private orders from the likes of Dior and Chanel, we opened our very own bakery in East London and I co-authored and styled two well-received cookbooks with photography by David Loftus (of Jamie Oliver). After six and a hlaf rewarding years, I sold my shares in the business in 2018 to explore new creative avenues.
For the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working as a freelance food stylist and recipe writer for leading publications and brands, including Ralph Lauren @ Wimbledon with Joanna Lumley, Vogue Italia with Tim Walker, Wallpaper Magazine, Mr Porter, Grazia, Great British Food Magazine, Veggie Magazine, Guardian Cook, and New Zealand’s Viva and Kia Ora Magazine, among others.
In addition to my styling and writing work, I've had the pleasure of guest and private cheffing at a variety of events, weddings, and retreats.
With a background that spans the fast-paced London food scene, personal development, and women’s well-being, I bring a unique and versatile set of skills to every creative culinary project. I’m passionate about collaboration, creativity, and empowering others to thrive—both in the kitchen and beyond!
